Commentary: Bay Delta Conservation Plan is Not a North-South Issue
From the Los Angeles Daily News, in a commentary by Bill Allen and Ed Casey:
“Since Gov. Pat Brown’s State Water Project, which included the California Aqueduct, in the 1960s, we have more or less been using duct tape to fortify an aging and vulnerable water system that continues to serve tens of millions of our fellow Californians.
“Now, with the release of the Bay Delta Conservation Plan, we have a chance to fix it and to undertake a great infrastructure modernization program that has the potential to benefit all Californians with improved water security and an enhanced ecosystem.”
