DWR Spotlight: Snow Survey Finds Bare Ground, Little Snow
From the California Department of Water Resources (DWR):
“DWR’s first snow survey of the winter today [Jan. 3] found little snow as California’s dry weather continued its push into the new year. Manual and electronic readings record the snowpack’s statewide water content at about 20 percent of normal for this time of year. The last time California’s snowpack was this dry was in January 2012.”
