HOAs Get Real About Water Shortage
From U-T San Diego:
“When residents at Regency Villas in University City got a peek of the condo complex’s drought-resistant landscaping during a clubhouse reception last week, it was a watershed moment, said community association manager Pamela Walker.
“The association had pulled out an old spa, some outdated irrigation equipment and a hodgepodge of thirsty plants. It replaced them with rock ground cover, drought-resistant shrubs and low-water flowering plants such as Spanish lavender and bougainvillea.”
