Holtville City Council Receives Update on Upgrades to City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant

“An updated design plan and cost estimation for upgrades to Holtville’s wastewater treatment plant was presented to Holtville City Council on Monday evening.
“Upgrades are required for the wastewater treatment plant because it is not up to state standards due to the high levels of ammonia in the wastewater. A public hearing was held as the final public participation meeting for the project before it comes back to the City Council for action in the next few months.”
