Legislators Press Obama and Brown to Take Action on California’s Water Supply
From the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA):
“Almost 50 state legislators and Congress members recently signed a letter calling on President Obama and Gov. Jerry Brown to invoke their executive authority to improve California’s water supply in 2014 and beyond.
“Citing dry conditions in California made worse by regulatory restrictions on Delta water, the letter urges the two leaders to take ‘immediate’ action that increases water supplies in California so that ‘America’s breadbasket and our trillion-dollar economy’ isn’t jeopardized.”
