From the Water Education Foundation and The Coalition to Support Near-Term Delta Projects:

A one-day tour of the Delta Wednesday, Sept. 25, will feature visits to various Delta sites, which may include near-term Delta projects that have moved forward or are moving forward toward implementation.

Take this opportunity to see parts of the Delta that demonstrate planning and action to address some of the challenges and complex issues in the area. Sites in Yolo, Sacramento, and Contra Costa counties are planned. Project proponents and other speakers will share information about the projects sites and other resources found in the Delta.

The tour begins and ends at Sacramento International Airport and includes transportation, lunch and dinner. The registration fee is $100. Scholarships are available for participants who request assistance.
