Attend Our Open House May 2; New Layperson’s Guide to the Colorado River Hot Off the Press; Register for Water 101 Before It’s Sold Out
New Layperson’s Guide to the Colorado River Basin
The Water Education Foundation’s 10th edition of the Layperson’s Guide to the Colorado River Basin is hot off the press and available for purchase.
Updated and redesigned, the 28-page guide is a solid, easy-to-read primer on one of the world’s most dramatic and developed rivers.
The guide covers the environmental, agricultural, tribal and recreational interests tied to the river that sustains more than 40 million people and millions of acres across seven states and parts of northern Mexico.
Learn how the river is managed and about its challenges, especially as the Southwest transitions to a hotter and drier climate.
The guide is available to purchase for $18 through the Foundation’s website. For questions and bulk orders at a discounted price, email Kayla Sergent.

Check out the agenda here. Plus, workshop participants are invited to join an optional groundwater tour April 4 that is nearly full.
Register here for the workshop or both the workshop and the tour!
Current Foundation member organizations have access to exclusive sponsorships opportunities for the workshop, which is a prime networking event for water professionals in attendance!
