Bid on Lunch with Lester Snow, Rita Schmidt Sudman’s New Book at Executive Briefing Auction
Auction also includes tickets to SF Giants, Sacramento Kings games, Disneyland, canoe trip and more
Attending our March 17 Executive Briefing is more than just hearing in-depth discussions on the hottest water topics. Besides a hosted reception afterward, you get the chance to bid on some fun events, outings and baskets of food grown in California during an auction that benefits the Water Education Foundation’s Water Leaders program.
The auction includes tickets to a San Francisco Giants game, 3rd row seats to a Sacramento Kings game and Disneyland; lunch with water policy experts including Lester Snow; and two copies of “Water: More or Less,” the new book co-authored by Rita Schmidt Sudman, the Foundation’s former executive director.
In addition, Rita will be selling and signing copies of her book at the Executive Briefing. The book includes essays from several water experts, including Snow, the former Natural Resources Secretary for California, and current Foundation Executive Director Jennifer Bowles.
At the auction, attendees can bid on active events, such as an afternoon canoe trip on the Cosumnes River, tickets to the San Francisco Zoo, and a weeklong stay at a lake-front cabin in Idaho.
In addition, there will be baskets filled with olive oil, pistachios, beer and more.
Proceeds from the auction benefit the Water Leaders class, a one-year program that attracts members from all stakeholder groups and deepens their understanding of California water issues and instills leadership skills.
