Register today to attend this interactive workshop on April 12
What goes into a regional water sustainability plan? How do you involve all stakeholders? And how do you manage the resource – including surface water and groundwater?
Join us at this half-day workshop at the Sacramento Convention Center to learn how to achieve regional water sustainability from water and land use leaders from across the state.
Confirmed speakers at the 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. workshop include:
- David Orth, Member, California Water Commission (former General Manager of Kings River Conservation District)
- Celeste Cantú, General Manager, Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority
- Tim O’Halloran, General Manager, Yolo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District
- Sarge Green, Water Management Specialist at the California Water Institute at CSU Fresno
Building Capacity for Regional Sustainability in California: A Water Summit is cosponsored by the California Department of Water Resources and the Water Education Foundation.
After the interactive discussion and panel presentations attendees will adjourn at about 4:30 p.m. to a Networking Reception in the adjacent Tools Pavilion. Here attendees can learn firsthand from state agency experts about tools and resources available now and in the near future to help achieve water sustainability.
Registration is $50. Click here to learn more and access the registration form.
