Capitol Weekly Conference to Focus on Water Policy
Foundation Executive Director Jennifer Bowles to moderate panel on storage
Capitol Weekly and the University of California, UC Center are sponsoring their third annual conference devoted to California water policy.

Jennifer Bowles, executive director of the Water Education Foundation and veteran journalist, will be moderating a panel examining storage and related issues. Other panels will focus on political forces at play shaping policy, project costs and the Delta tunnels.
John Laird, Secretary of the California Natural Resources Agency, will be the keynote speaker.
Other confirmed participants include Assemblywoman Susan Talamantes Eggman; Timothy Quinn, Association of California Water Agencies; Tom Birmingham, Westlands Water District; Paul Wenger, California Farm Bureau Federation; Rogene Reynolds, former president, Restore the Delta; and Roger Patterson, Metropolitan Water District.
Other moderators include Chris Austin of Maven’s Notebook; Dan Morain, Sacramento Bee and Ben Bradford, Capital Public Radio.
