The Water Education Foundation and Brian Brown to Receive Award
The California Science Teachers Association recently announced that Water Education Foundation/California Project WET and Brian Brown, the program’s coordinator, will receive its Distinguished Contributors Award.
“Under the guidance of Brian Brown, the state coordinator for California Project WET, the Water Education Foundation has provided an excellent resource for promoting science education in California,” CSTA announced in its Aug. 5 newsletter.
Brian has worked for the Foundation for 10 years and leads the non-profit’s effort with Project WET (Water Education for Teachers). The program facilitates and promotes awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and stewardship of water resources through the dissemination of classroom-ready teaching aids and the establishment of internationally sponsored Project WET programs.
Brian will receive the award in December.
