We regularly post on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram to cast a wider net in our efforts to educate the public about critical water resource information, such as conservation tips to help with the drought gripping California and the West.
Twitter: We use our Twitter account to share the latest news involving our tours and events, important water articles of the day, breaking news when it happens as well as the latest stories from our journalism team in Western Water news.
LinkedIn: We use our LinkedIn page to promote upcoming events key to professional development and articles to stay in the know on the hottest water topics.
- Note: If you are a graduate of our Water Leaders program, you can request to join a LinkedIn group just for alumni to stay connected and share job promotions and openings, among other things.
Instagram: We use our Instagram page as a dynamic and in-depth way to engage with our followers about water resources in ways that are less formal than LinkedIn and longer than is allowed by Twitter. And of course, we have beautiful images showcasing rivers, lakes, deltas and more.
Facebook: We post information about upcoming events on our Facebook page and post a Water Word of The Week from our extensive online water encyclopedia, usually tied to an issue in the news that week or a larger event such as World Water Day.
