Join Online Groundwater Short Course Starting May 12

An online short course starting Thursday will provide registrants the opportunity to learn more about how groundwater is monitored, assessed and sustainably managed.
The class, offered by University of California, Davis and several other organizations in cooperation with the Water Education Foundation, will be held May 12, 19, 26 and June 2, 16 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Registrants will learn from Thomas Harter and other experts about fundamental principles of groundwater and watershed hydrology, water budgets, water quality, water law and regulation via real world examples, as well as key elements of planning for groundwater sustainability.
The course is $100 with a reduced fee of $60 available for members of Groundwater Sustainability Agencies in California and participants of the Foundation’s Water 101 Workshop in April.
