Last Chance to Buy Bay-Delta Tour Tickets
Don’t miss your seat for a behind-the-scenes look at California’s water hub
Our annual Bay-Delta Tour, June 14-16, has only a handful of seats remaining.
This comprehensive look at the hub of California’s water systems is an amazing opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes understanding of efforts to maintain water supplies, water quality, farming, levee integrity, habitat for endangered species, and many other topics. You’re accompanied by experts every step of the way and granted access to facilities that are generally closed to the public.
Even if you have been on this tour in the past, we have added several new stops and speakers. You’re guaranteed to learn something new and gain fresh insights and the latest updates to topics you’re already familiar with.
We will hear from representatives of the San Francisco Bay fishing industry, learn about the multi-agency Delta Smelt Resiliency Strategy that was released last Friday, meet with a senior policy adviser from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California on the agency’s plans for recently purchased Delta islands and visit a new water treatment facility in the Contra Costa Water District.
We have kept many of our guests’ favorite activities, including a visit to the Aquarium of the Bay, the Bay Model and a ferry ride on San Francisco Bay.
Register here for this educational – and fun – tour being held June 14-16. For an additional fee, you can receive continuing education credits for the tour. Click here for information about all of our tours or contact Tour Director Dan Scott at (916) 444-6240 for more details.
