Make the Most of Year-End Gift Opportunities
The year may be coming to a close, but there’s still time to help support the Water Education Foundation. Your tax-deductible gift will help us continue our mission to provide unbiased information on water issues through facilitation, education and outreach, as we have for 37 years.
It has been a busy year for the Foundation: eight water tours; two major conferences along with workshops that addressed drought, and Delta climate change and habitat protection; informative Western Water articles on groundwater use and overdraft, drought, infrastructure needs and Delta salinity, 66 Project WET workshops with more than 950 educators trained in these K-12 lessons. We also welcomed our new Executive Director Jennifer Bowles, launched a new website and moved our offices to midtown Sacramento.
We hope you will consider making good use of the income tax charitable deduction by donating to the Foundation, a 501(c)(3), before the end of 2014. Your gift can reduce your income taxes while providing meaningful support for the Water Education Foundation.
No gift is too large or too small.
Your general support helps us publish Western Water, maintain Aquapedia, our online water encyclopedia, and bring you daily news on Aquafornia.
Here are some examples of what your gift can do!
