Water Education Foundation Board Welcomes Two New Members to its Diverse Array of Water Interests
Two veteran board members join Executive Committee
Two new members were elected to the Water Education Foundation Board of Directors, joining a diverse cross-section of water supply, business, environmental, agricultural and public interest organizations that governs the impartial nonprofit based in Sacramento.
In addition, two veteran board members were elevated to the Executive Committee, joining Board President Terry Fulp, former director of the Bureau of Reclamation’s Lower Colorado River region, and Treasurer JaNell Cook of HDR Inc. Eric Robinson, managing shareholder of Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard, became Vice President and Ane Deister, executive director of the Urban Water Institute, was elected Secretary.
Joining the board as new members in 2024 are:
- Tama Snow, vice president and regional business leader for Stantec’s water team in California and Hawaii.
- Stacey Olson, program manager for the Resources Legacy Fund and a member of the Water Leaders cohort of 2023 who is filling that cohort’s board position.
Founded in 1977, the Foundation produces news stories, maps and publications and organizes workshops, tours and leadership programs to raise awareness of water issues in California and across the Colorado River Basin. The Foundation team of writers, editors, teachers and other nonprofit professionals is led by Executive Director Jenn Bowles.
Members of the Board of Directors voted to approve the new board members at their final 2023 meeting on Nov. 27. Their appointments took effect Jan. 1, 2024.
