Invasive mussels threatens one of California’s main waterways
California wildlife officials detected an invasive species in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta that threatens numerous ecosystems in the northern part of the state. On April 16, officials announced the Golden Mussel Task Force, a statewide interagency group aimed at curbing the spread of the invasive species.
