David J. Guy is the President of the Northern California Water Association (NCWA). For the past several decades he has worked in various capacities to advance economic interests that promote the conservation of California’s special places and their precious water and land resources.

He is also an adjunct professor at San Joaquin College of Law.

Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Yosemite Association. He has also practiced water and land use law throughout California.

He has been appointed by Democratic and Republican governors to serve on numerous commissions and appointed bodies. He received his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in geological sciences from San Diego State University.
