An Early Welcome to Spring, California Project WET Alumni!
The Spring 2019 California Project WET Gazette is ‘live’ on the Water Education Foundation website. The deluge of rain and snow has finally knocked out drought conditions for most of the state, but as we are all aware in California the long, dry period of our Mediterranean climate is just a page or two ahead on the calendar. Since the weather is keeping many of us in the dry refuges of our homes, this Gazette article takes a look at an activity focused on the evolution of water use practices in the home through time.
Please let colleagues know about upcoming trainings in Napa County, the summer Forestry and Floodplain Ecology Institutes and the Fall opportunities to attend one of our ‘Understanding Climate Change in California’ workshops – and if you haven’t already, please consider attending one of these workshops yourself!
Hope you enjoy a wonderful Spring! - Brian
