Offline Teaching Activities for an Online World — California Project WET Gazette
Interactive Activities for Off-Screen & Stormy Day Learning
HAPPY NEW YEAR, GAZETTE READERS!
Hope this note finds you well, a bit more relaxed and looking forward to what we all hope will be a rapid reigning-in of COVID-19 in the near future. In the meantime, screen fatigue and opportunities for greater physical activity during the stormy months of winter remain a concern for all.
The Winter 2021 Gazette was developed to address these concerns and includes a range of Project WET activity suggestions and resources for you to consider using to support learning in this challenging time.
California workshop facilitators continue work on developing workshops to support your work with students through fun professional development experiences. Workshops this winter and spring will continue to feature a mix of ‘live’ online training, go-at-your-own-pace online training – and at least one team offering a variety of short courses within a peer learning experience for new or veteran teachers throughout California!
Be well and stay safe Gazette readers! – Brian
