Description: The East Bay Municipal Utility District and Water Education Foundation invite K-8 educators in the East Bay Area to join us for an interactive, interdisciplinary workshop exploring the watersheds and systems that supply our water. Teachers of all subjects and educators of all types working with K-8 students are welcome!
The interdisciplinary, STEM/STEAM friendly Project WET activities include real life scenarios designed to engage students of all ages and that strongly support Project-Based and Service-Learning, as well as California Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
For a $20 registration fee, participants in this workshop will receive a copy of Project WET’s new Foundations of Water Education guide, a light breakfast, lunch, an opportunity to register for CEU credits and return of their registration – minus Eventbrite fees – upon completion of the workshop.
