Description: Kern County Water Agency’s Improvement District #4 and Bakersfield City Schools invite Bakersfield teachers to join us for a FREE workshop experiencing interdisciplinary, hands-on Project WET activities that make water topics come alive for students. 

Our Project WET workshops model activities that are practical for teachers, while engaging students’ critical thinking skills. ID4 teacher workshops feature classroom-proven, action-based learning activities that are designed to complement existing curricula, rather than replace it.   

ID4 has tailored the activities to reflect local water resources and provides teachers with materials to incorporate them into their classrooms.  All Project WET activities provide strong support for Project-Based and Service-Learning programs, and correlate to the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.

Participants will receive their own Project WET guide.
