Description: Kern County Water Agency’s Improvement District #4 and Kern High School District invite high school educators to join us for this free workshop focused on promoting awareness, appreciation, knowledge and stewardship of our water resources.

The training provided by Improvement District No. 4 features insight into both historical and current water challenges and opportunities in our area with hands-on activities. 

The Project WET workshops model activities that are practical for teachers and engage students’ critical thinking skills. Teachers enjoy using Project WET lessons, because they are designed to complement existing curricula, rather than replace it.  All activities correlate to the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.

Participants will also receive their own Project WET guide.
