Description: UC Merced, Merced County Office of Education & Merced Environmental Literacy Collective invite all area teachers to experience Next Generation Science Standard practices in action!
Learn new, creative teaching strategies and receive activities that address water from the widest possible angle with Project WET modules and existing regional water education programs that bring local issues into focus.
Project WET activities are an effective tool for integrating student knowledge of water resources with activities that include reality-based scenarios that provide strong foundations for STEAM and Service Learning programs.
Receive a free copy of the NGSS aligned Project WET Guide 2.0, free access to the Project WET Online portal for additional resources, and an opportunity to apply for graduate credit through UC Merced Extension, a light breakfast and lunch– all for a $50 registration fee!
