Description: The U.C. Sierra Foothill Research & Extension Center invites you to explore Place-based and Project-centered lessons from Project WET and Project Learning Tree, while learning about the flora, fauna and earth systems from local ecological experts to increase your understanding of California’s natural world. The training will include demonstration in the safe use of drones to explore local ecosystems.
Each participant will walk away with personal copies of the Project WET and Learning Tree guides loaded with NGSS & CCSS correlated activities. Participants will also have an opportunity to register for CEU credit and apply for grant funding through the Project Learning Tree GREENWORKS! program.
