Description: The Riverside-Corona Resource Conservation District invites any formal and non-formal, public, private and homeschool teachers and support staff to attend a water-themed, hands-on, STEM-friendly, interdisciplinary workshop.
This workshop will focus on the use of Project WET activities to study Riverside County water topics and engage your students in concepts and skills at the heart of NGSS and Common Core standards.
For a $10 registration fee, participants will enjoy a wonderful day experiencing activities that will engage students at all grade levels and receive a copy of Project WET Guide 2.0. Bring a lunch!
*The LandUse Learning Center (LLC) is a 3-acre garden that demonstrates sustainable practices for the three main land uses of southern California: native habitats, urban areas, and agriculture.
The LLC is used to empower southern Californians to practice natural resource stewardship at home, at work, and in the community.
