Description: TEMECULA & ELSINORE K-12 EDUCATORS! Please join the California Department of Water Resources, Rancho Water & Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District for this fast-paced, hybrid workshop focused on drought, climate and water conservation.
The workshop will include an interdisciplinary exploration of Project WET water-conservation activities that will engage your students in understanding why and how we conserve water – while reinforcing concepts and skills at the heart of Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
Participants attending this FREE training will receive an
overview
of California weather and climate and how they impact our
water
resources, experience with great activities to engage students in
water
conservation, a copy of Project WET Guide 2.0, and a $50
stipend.
Breakfast, snacks, water, and drinks are included.
