Description: INLAND NORTHERN CALIFORNIA EDUCATORS! Spring Rivers Foundation invites you to join a free, virtual, special-edition Project WET workshop!
Our ‘Watersheds to the Sea’ theme will focus this training on exploring standards-based activities and tools to engage your students in the study of local watershed connections to the sea. Participants will learn how to present activities in both in-person and virtual, distance-learning formats!
The interdisciplinary activities of Project WET include real-life scenarios, use of data and emphasis on critical thinking. Project activities support and expand on existing curriculum and provide strong foundations for STEAM, Project-Based and Service-Learning programs.
Participants completing the workshop will receive a copy of Project WET Guide 2.0, access to detailed Project WET NGSS standard correlations for both programs, access to the new Project WET standard pools and an opportunity to receive CEU credit.
