Description: The California Department of Water Resources Climate team and our partners invite grade 3 through 12 educators to join us for a workshop experience that is part at home at your own pace and part virtual experience focused on the science of climate change.
In addition, you’ll learn how water managers are applying the science to safeguard California’s water supply and communities – and how the interdisciplinary activities of Project WET can help you integrate climate science knowledge, concepts and skills into your distance or in class curriculum.
Participants completing this training will receive great information on current climate science as applied in California, a copy of Project WET Guide 2.0, an opportunity to receive 0.8 CEU credit – and a $50 stipend following completion of the training.
