Description: Join us for a day on the Russian River exploring how to connect your students to an understanding and caring for their local watershed and the ocean it flows into using Project WET activities, while also engaging students in concepts and skills at the heart of NGSS and Common Core standards.
You’ll experience hands-on activities that support outdoor learning and stewardship opportunities including water quality monitoring, aquatic macroinvertebrate studies and a tour of our fish viewing gallery. You’ll will walk away with a copy of Project WET Guide 2.0, an enhanced agenda showing NGSS standard connections and access to new Project WET standard pools.
Participants will also receive lunch, an opportunity to order EEI curriculum units and an opportunity to receive CEU credit!
