Ticket sales now open for anniversary and Water Leaders reunion; proceeds benefit water education programs
Forty years ago, the Water Education Foundation opened its doors in Sacramento as a nonprofit, nonpolitical, tax-exempt educational organization.
Today, the Sacramento-based Foundation remains a vital source of impartial and in-depth information about water resource issues in California and the West. Taking a steady pulse of the water world, the Foundation provides a vast repertoire of educational materials, products and services such as our water tours, workshops, our flagship quarterly magazine, Western Water, and Project WET (Water Education for Teachers).
Join us Oct. 26 as we mark our 40th birthday with a celebration at the Sterling Hotel in downtown Sacramento. We will also be marking the 20th anniversary of our Water Leaders program with a reunion reception just for current members and graduates.
