Scholarships Available to Attend, Exhibit at the Santa Ana River Watershed Conference

A limited number of scholarships are available for low-income community members and nonprofits that serve low-income or under-represented communities within the Santa Ana River watershed to attend and/or exhibit at the 2017 Santa Ana River Watershed Conference on May 25 in Ontario.
Themed, 21st Century Water Strategy: Working Together to Make a Finite Resource Infinite, the conference is expected to draw 300 attendees from across the watershed and California. Experts and thought leaders will examine key issues facing the watershed that stretches into Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. The agenda includes a panel discussion aimed at strengthening the engagement of low-income, overburdened and under-represented communities in regional water planning.
Scholarships are available for nonprofit organizations that serve low-income or underrepresented communities within the watershed to:
- send up to three employees to the conference and/or
- exhibit at the conference and display materials about their organizations
Scholarships are also available for low-income community members living in the watershed who earn less than $49,000 a year.
